The dark days of switched and mislaid dummies are finally over thanks to MyDummy.co.uk, the place where you can have your little one's name engraved on high-quality dummies from leading brands such as NUK and Nûby. At www.mydummy.co.uk you can see just how your child's name will look when engraved on one of the many different models available. If you order the dummies now, they will be delivered to your door within 5-10 days.

This fantastic concept has quickly made it to the realms of celebrity with a personalised dummy from www.MyDummy.co.uk pictured in a recent addition of People Magazine in the mouth of none other than Heidi Klum and Seal's son Henry Samuel. But this is only one of the many success stories for the just 2½-year-old invention.

In September, Hollywood star Trista from the major US TV series The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, showed off the MyDummy in a big report in US Weekly magazine. Also, at last year's Awards ceremony, MyDummy was chosen to be part of the exclusive VIP gift bags given to the award-nominated actors and actresses. Among the lucky recipients were the stars from Desperate Housewives and Kiefer Sutherland from 24 Hours.

Danish housewife Pia Callesen is the inventor behind MyDummy. Like many other parents she often experienced that her son, Frederik, had lost his dummy at day care whilst another dummy, with accompanying bacteria, had found its way into his mouth. Pia came up with a method of engraving the child’s name onto the dummy so that the name remained, no matter how often the dummy was sterilised in boiling water. In this way the child has an attractive personalised quality dummy that is easy to recognise.

Visit www.mydummy.co.uk for more information.

my daughter tiara, will not have any other dummys apart from the cherry teat dummy, i have looked on the website but couldnt find any, my daughter goes to nursery so this sort of dummy would be a great help because she would never lose it.

when my son terry was small i put two dummies on a stringy keyring so that when we went out i could clip it to the buggy so we would not lose the dummies. i am expecting in june and will be doing the same.

I like the shape of the dummys and think it is a good idea to have your childs name on them.I have a 5 week old baby boy and i get his dummy mixed up with my 5 month old sister.so i think they are useful.

A fun idea, but i will go with the side of caution, I would feel it would invite problem's everyone you meet would see the babys real name.We live in such a uncertain world, But fun nick names or words would be great.

I had some of these with my first child, they are great when going to mums and toddler groups as dropped dummies are often left as you dont know who they belong to.

we need crazy funky dummies with mad patterns so they become more acceptable. i hate having people tell me that my child needs to be rid of them. A great tip to get rid of a dummy id to say the dummy fairy is coming and will take your dummy to babies who dont have dummies. lea the child a present in place of the dummy. my eldest child never entioned t again!

I haven't started looking at things like dummys yet, we started with travel systems and car seats but these look fun. Hope they come in different colours as that would be great.

This dummy is well thought after, ensures the right dummy is given to the child when lost at nursery, why has this not be thought about before.

My little baby boy Kaden is terrible with dummies, he loves to suck them and is content but he cannot seem to keep them in his mouth for long. It leaves me frustated having to keep putting it back in for him.
