Freya Design offers a range of beautifully solid wooden keepsake boxes that will make ideal gifts for your friends and family this Christmas. Guaranteed to have enduring appeal, the stunning collection includes keepsake boxes, memory boxes, jewellery boxes, money boxes, trinket boxes, baby's boxes and storage boxes.

Each box has been lovingly designed in the UK by Marie Ekerholm who takes inspiration from her native country Sweden, where simplicity, functionality and style are the essence of Scandinavian design themes.

They are all beautifully made from only the finest New Zealand pine and European alder and birch. The wood, textile and other natural materials used are carefully sourced from around the world, with the environment being the main consideration when making buying decisions.

The boxes are painted with non-toxic paints and the insides left unpainted in order to retain the natural smell of wood. Whatever your style, Freya Design has the perfect present all wrapped up! Last mailing date for Xmas orders is 11th December 09.

I would love to own a set of these trinket boxes....every few years I buy something special for my tree...I have pieces that date back to the 50's that my grandmother left....each piece represents someone or something special. I have embroidered satin tiny cushions that I made when each of my children were born and represents their first Christmas. I have a one year old now and need a little trinket to put on the tree for him, my girls always put their own satin cushion on the tree each year, I want a tiny trinket for him now so that i can paint his date of birth and name on it....and in years to come grandchildren will each have their own little piece.
