Crave's selection of maternity jeans is second-to-none. Denim is an essential item in any wardrobe - especially the maternity wardrobe - and Crave offer eight different styles to ensure your jeans suit your maternity shape. There are clear fashion "do's and don'ts" and these are accentuated as your body shape changes with a growing baby! Here are Crave's tips on how to look great in your maternity jeans - find your body type below for style and fit advice.

Big bottom.

It is best to avoid excessive embellishments on the back of your jeans - especially the pockets - as this just draws attention to the area. Be careful though, as going for pockets that are too small or spaced too far apart will also accentuate your bottom. Jeans with longer/wider pockets help create length and jeans that flare at the ankle help create a good balance. Low-rise jeans are always a good option. We suggest Crave's Boyfriend Jean for a really comfortable, everyday look and the Pull On Bootleg Jean for versatility as they can be dressed up with heels and a sexy top or kept simple with flats or flip flops for day wear.

Fuller tummy.

If your tummy is your hot spot and you are not overkeen on showing off your expandingbump, you need to choose jeans that have flattering yet simple front pocket details that draw the eye away from your bump. Avoid jeans that are too tight - it really is advisable to invest in a great pair of maternity jeans rather than squeeze in to your old ones for as long as you can! We recommend Crave's Essential Bootleg Jean in either white or blue.

Heavy thighs.

Avoid jeans that make your thighs look wider. You need a pair that skims your legs but is not over-tight. Flared and boot cut jeans are perfect as your legs are lengthened and attention will be distracted from your wider hips. Avoid skinny jeans or tapered jeans. We recommend Crave's Bootleg Jean.

Lucky and Tall.

Finding jeans should be a joy for you. For the most flattering look, go for skinny jeans and low-rise styles to show. Crops and coloured jeans are all great options for you. We recommend Crave's Crop Boyfriend Jean and White Skinny Jean.

Short legs.

Anything that creates the illusion of length in your legs is what you are looking for. If you can stand it, keep your hemline long, hitting the floor when standing flat-footed and wear gorgeous pumps or flip flops. If you like a sleek look, wear Crave's Essential Bootleg Jean long over high-heeled shoes. Be sure to keep away from crops. We recommend Crave's Indigo Skinny Jean and Essential Bootleg Jean.

Boyish Figure.

Those with a less shapely/curvy figure have the opposite problem to those with a pear shape. You need to create the illusion of curves and you can achieve this with skinny or more straight-cut jeans. These are slender and make the hips look wider, adding curves to your flatter bottom. We recommend Crave's Straight Leg Pull On Jean.

I have purchased items from Crave and have been referring all of my friends to the site - some really lovely pices to make you feel dressed up and attractive at a time where it's easy to see the bump when you look in the mirror and nothing else!

i think jeans in pregnancy are a must have piece in any pregnant ladies wardrobe because they stretch with you, can be dressed up or down and you never fail to look timeless as you will always have something you can put them with.
