Ugly Betty star and mum-to-be Ana Ortiz has opened up about possible baby names she has in mind for her new arrival.

The 38-year-old American actress revealed that she has selected a "short list" of options to choose from when her first child with husband Noah Lebenzon, a daughter, is born in late July.

"We have a short list I'm going to walk into the hospital with. And then I figure when I see her, [I'll know]," she told People.

"I have my favorite. My husband has his favorite. He gets the last name so I get the first name. I feel like that's fair."

Ana and her musician hubby tied the knot in Puerto Rico in June 2007 and currently live in New York City.

The actress is best known for her role as Hilda Suarez in hit US comedy-drama Ugly Betty. The show is produced by fellow celebrity mother Salma Hayek, who recently made her union to French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault official.
