Baby nappy creams

Advice on the different types of nappy creams that you can use to protect your baby from nappy rash, plus the opportunity to compare nappy cream prices.

Discuss baby nappy creams on our forums, right now! Or, post a comment below.

There are two types of nappy creams, barrier creams and medicated creams.
  • Barrier creams - These keep everything your baby produces in his or nappy away from the skin. It should help nappy prevent nappy rash, particularly in reusable nappies, though it may affect the absorbency of some disposable nappies.

  • Medicated creams - These are used when your baby has a sore bottom and will help clear up nappy rash.
What to look for when buying nappy creams

Remember you will have your hands full when changing your baby's nappy. You will need a nappy cream that is easy to apply; so some may find spray or pump bottles easier to use.
