Superstition???

I have always belived in superstition. Dont walk under ladders, putting a hairbrush on the table etc etc.

At my 20 week scan i was told it was a girl Very Happy I know they cant say there 100% deffinate.
But on satarday i see 4 magpies Shocked and in the car with my parents yesterday they saw another 4 omg is that telling me somthing or wot.
So now im having doubts thats its a lil girl Confused Iv got a lil boy and would love to have a girl to finish it off but i cant shift this feeling the magpies are right!

So now i have to wait till next week for my 28wk scan to double check.

Do you think im being silly thinking there right?

I am superstitious to an extent but i certainly wouldnt take seeing 4 magpies over what the sonographer has said. I take the magpie thing with a pinch of salt.

By the way whats wrong with putting a hair brush on the table? Is it bad luck? I do it all the time as ive never heard of it Confused Embarassed

i am superstitious too...don't put new shoes on a table, groom shouldn't see bride's dress, new prams shouldn't be kept at the house til baby is born (mine went to my sister's) however i would take the magpies with a pinch of salt as it is more likely the sonographer is right...hope you get your little girl, but whatever happens, hope your LO is happy and healthy xx

I'm fairly superstitious but not overly,as far as ladders and things are concerned, but I take the magpie thing lightly but I do think, when I see one, what's going to happen Sad and when I see 2,it makes me smile Very Happy

but I wouldnt believe that over the scan hun, they are pretty accurate these days Very Happy xxx

think you could be letting all this get the better of you hun, theres no way a group of birds could possibly determine the sex of your baby.
trust the sonographer,im sure she`s had much more training than the magpies! Wink x

When I was having Charlotte we didn't find out the sex. We picked out Harrison for a name and everywhere we went we saw that name, so I was convinced she was gonna be a boy and out popped a girl Shocked Shocked

xx

Lol I am quite superstitious but I broke a mirror 6 months before I got pregnant with Sean, and from that point everything just became amazing!
I got pregnant, had my beautiful baby boy, got my beautiful house and we're happy (for the most part lol, but then everyone has fall outs and what not don't they)
so for me there was no 7 years bad luck
I think I believe more in fate, like the baby that I lost in may, painful as that is I have to believe that it just wasnt his/her time.
(sorry to go on a downer there)
xxx
