I was in Lidl today and they still sell the original Farley's milk at the lower price. However looking on the website, they are discontinuing the original Farley's milk. It has been replaced with Heinz Nurture, supposed to have more nutrients in it.

This is the link to the website which tells you all about the new milk. Hope this helps. |

Spoke to my mum today who said this new milk has been in the news this week, and its all a big con. Haven't read or seen anything myself, but am disappointed that with the current credit crunch we are experiencing, Heinz feel it's necessary to rip us off!
SMA gold has gone up, although Cow & Gate is about the same, under £7. HIPP organic milk is under £5.

I have been using Farleys for the past 7 months and recommended it to loads of other mums mainly because of the good price. I will now be UNrecommending it! The cost per tin has now almost doubled in all the supermarkets. I will not be using it for my baby as soon as I have finished current tin. It is disgusting what Heinz have done - so much for COMMITTED TO KEEPING PRICES DOWN! |
