Hi Ladies, I am experiencing "frequent urination". Since the weekend I feel like I constantly need to go to the loo. If I try and delay it I get extremely bloated, so I'm going almost double as I would normally. I haven't increased my liquid intake by any means. This all seemed to start after I realised some pinkish/brown discharge/spotting - is this normal and is this a strong indication that I may be pregnant? I am due my period in about a weeks time..........I hope its good news x

I'm concerned because I hear more women are discovering they were 4 weeks pregnet and didn't know. My belly or below my belly area it has become firmer than it has before. I did get my period or what I think was my period this month(Jan. 1st). Maybe it wasn't my period??? My breast isn't tender though.

Hi there, i'm very new to all this! I got married in August and came off the pill straite away, i didnt get a period until October and have had another since on 9th Novenmber. My next one is due in 9 days but have been feeling a few things out of the ordinary for me. Ive had headcahes the past few days and some minor cramping mostly on one side but only lasted 24 hours, very mild, not painful, just uncomfortable. Ive also got very tender breasts and been REALLy tired! Dont know wot to think at the mo! Do you think these could be pregnancy signs so soon? x

Hi, ive been trying to consive for 7 months now with no luck, i thought i was 3 months ago i had all the signs turned out i was wrong as my period came on and a few negitiave tests but since then ive been getting what feels like little period pains weeks before my period, but still getting period but it is so much lighter and dosent last as long...which normally would not happen. Over the last week my body has been abit acey my back and sides are sore. Ive also been feeling very tired and had funny feeling belly. Now also experiencing heartburn and going for a pee alot more than i normally, aint got tender breasts but they do feel heavier I was due my period this week but nothing has come of it yet
JUST NEED TO WAIT AND SEE

Has anyone ever experienced symtoms like these in early pregnancy with the lighter short periods and getting pains wayy before

If period hasent came by end of nxt week i will wait a little while and test just woundering if it dose sound like i could be pregnant????

In Aug. my period came on twice and this month of sep. i have had signings of being pregnant and i made an app. to go to the doctor on october 5 but now on the 30of sept. my preiod has come on is that normal and can I still be pregnant im really trying to get pregnant so can someone tell me whats going on with me i have had headaches, back pain, side pain, cramping,feeling tried alot, eating more, heartburns,breast hurts,constipation, nasty taste in mouth and these are all my signs i have been having so can someone please let me know whats going on

Hi Dollbay, I would suggest wait to your due date if you have not come on then (which now you have 4 days left) wait for a week see if your period is maybe late then take one. I know you will be excited but sometimes periods do come a bit later. I have been trying for a month my due date was yesterday,have not come on yet but waiting till after this week to see if i am a bit late. :)

just a quick question: my period was late but it did ome after 2 weeks. before my period was due i had light spotting and lately i have had headaches tenderbreasts mood swings and i am always tired. hi im really new to this,we n my partner have been trying for another baby for nearly 3 yrs, in dec last yr i found out i was pregnant wiv our 2nd but sadly in jan at 9 weeks i miscarried, since then we have been trying, this month my period is dueon monday, i have had sore breasts since tues, and today i have had like wot looks like a very light period but not enuf to wear a pad, it feels like im getting my period but only very mild wher as usually i get very bad period pains, has anyone else experienced this and had a pos pregnancy test??? its driving me mad not noin i would love for another child ad our little girl will be in middle school nxt yr and such a big age gap hope sum1 can please give me any advice on this. xxx

Hi I just found out I'm pregnant! After trying for 2 yrs with my husband, I was on folistim for one month and clomid for several months and nothing happened. My husband is gettn ready to deploy and the doctor said we wernt going to have anymore time to try another cycle but guess what I'm pregnant! So were really happy and I just found out 3 days before he leaves:)

I suspect that I am probably being a little premature here, as I only came off the pill at the beginning of July, but for the last week but breasts started feeling heavier and my nipples are really sore, I also have a feeling of light period pains and have been urinating alot more. I am sure that it is far too early for me to be pregnant, so I was wondering if anyone else had these symptoms when coming off the pill? Is it just my body adjusting?

Hey I am having the same problem as a few people on here. I am 21 and having been trying for a baby with my husband. I am 4 weeks late on my period but ever test I do says negative. I have most of the symptoms of early pregnancy and also I have been losing weight but my tummy is defiantly getting bigger!!! I look pregant and am getting my hopes up. Anyone got any advice on this?

heyx im Lynsey, just found out last week and im 6wks, scary stuffx really happy though. Wanted some advise for about a week ive felt cramps to my lower tummy feels like period not really painfull though, yesterday breasts started to become tender. I found out i was a Pregnant a week ago,the test said i was 3+ plus weeks gone,but that dont add up,with last period being on the 3rd of April and sleeping with my partner,i can only think im a lot further on ??? i dont really understand and im not sure im making too much sense???

Can someone please help me. I was on the conreception injection for 3 years, i had my last one in January this year and never had the one due in march because me and my long term partner split up. But since April we have met up and i seemed to get on really well as friends but have ended up in bed with each other on a few occasions the last time being last week and the first being on the 2nd April. Now i am really worried just incase I am preg. I done a home test last week but that was negative and now I have been advised from my doctor that beause i have came off the injection it could take upto a year to get my periods back, but i am having wired feelings in my stomach and my right breast is a little sore. Some days i eat more than normal and some days i dont eat at all. I am feeling really emotional but i dont know if that is because of the situation i am in with the ex or because i could be preg. I am going to the toliet more often than normal. I dont know if i could just be paranoid. please help someone and please advise when is best to do another test i need to know as soon as possible because i am really worring.

Also today i noticed whenn i sqeezed my right nipple clear kind of cloudy liquid came out i was wondering if this is a sign of pregnancy ? ive heard people have this when they are like 5 months pregnant is it possble to experience this so early ?

xxlaurenxx, I think it's definitely too early to test as you will probably get a negative regardless of if it's positive or not. Most tests can be done as early as 4 days before your period is due, however, the longer you can wait, the better and more clear the result.

I tested the day before and got a +, then again the day after and got +, went to the Dr who did 3 tests all really light so they can't confirm! Now waiting for bloods to come back. V nervous as had a MC previously so hoping all's ok this time.

Your symptoms do sound like you may be pregnant, but I'd definitely wait a while longer.

kat1983 - hi i am also around 5 weeks pregnant and am experiencing back ache, im a hairdresser so on my feet for a long time so i thought it might be the strain, but i get it when im not working. mine also feels muscular and this is my first pregnancy. i dont really know why im getting back problems this early on so if anybody knows i would appriciate it. but its good to know your not suffering alone.

Hello Everyone, I am trying for my second child after 3 years and have forgotten the signs etc. My last period was 16 jan and my partner and i have been having sex every other day with an ovulation test being positive on the 9th Feb. Its too early to do a test ( bring on the 22nd). Does anyone know if Light Headedness is an early sign of Pregnancy? i feel really lightheaded now after eating lunch :(

Hi, am around 5 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing a lot of lower back pain. it feels muscular not period painy! Does anyone else have this the doc says its nothing to worry about as I am not blkeeding or anything. Hiya All, My partner and I have been trying for over a year and since December 2008 around the 19th was my last period. But on the 4th of February I noticed a little blood on my knickers then after that for around 5/6 days only when i wiped it was pink in colour. My partner and I had sex on the Friday the 6th and afterwards I bleed a little with a small clot the size of a pea then stopped nothing since. But yesterday i felt period like pain (but not painful) then some blood red in colour, now i am very light if not stopped??? I went to the doctor on Friday afternoon and she wants to do a test so handing that in 2moz morning or do i if i am still lightly bleeding? I have to say i am very confused to whats going on. I have had no other signs. Can someone tell me if they have went through the same or near to?? Today the 16th Feb had very light cramps, when went to loo and wiped little pinky red blood, i am all over the place with this...Handed my pee sample into the docs, call 2moz after 3pm to see if sample back...I dont know whats going on.....fingers crossed all goes well.

Dear All: I got off of birth control pills in November. Today is day 74 with no sign of a period. My 3 month deadline is March 6, 2009. They say it can take 3 months for BCP to get out of your system. However, I've had breast pain these last couple of days. Could the BCP interfere with a blood tests ability to pick-up HCG?

Welshbird, all you can really do is wait. Most tests can detect pregnancy up to 1 day before your next expected period. If you've taken yourself off the ''pill'' or ''patch'' or any other kind of contraception it may take a few months to work out of your system. What I can suggest you do is keep on trying until your expected period and start taking Folic Acid and start eating very healthy and drinking lots of water. Let us know what happens!

Hi all i dont know if it helps but i have been trying for 8 months and my periods were all over the place. i did 3 pregnancy tests from dec to jan and all were negative. i found out sunday i am 6-7 weeks pregnant and hcg only showed this week. i didnt have any signs so it is worth doing an extra test as it may just be taking longer to show up

Ive been reading afew of your comments and I want to say im feeling in the same position as alot of you, I am now 7 days late on my period, did 1 home test which was negative, been to the doctors today to have another test which will tell me on monday, but i am feeling the bloating, clear discharge, sore boobs pain in side ( like where my tubes would be) feeling heartburn, was feeling pains like period pains but now they have turned into weird pains which i have never felt before. Hi, Don't know if this helps, but with my first pregnancy, I never showed up on a pregnancy test till 10wks, I had very light bleeding, and vomitted +++ at about 8 weeks......my doctor said I wasn't pregnant and that I had gastroenteritis!! Well, 9 mths later I had my daughter. So the moral of the story is tests aren't always correct!! Fingers Crossed xxxx

I know how u feel i finished my pill the beging of september and i havent had a period yet i would be about 8 days late, ive done pregnancy tests and they have come back negative. Im not sure if i have done them to early or if its just coming of the pill, but i havent had any sort of bleeding for 5 weeks! Im doing another test on thur then i will be 12 days late if nothing then i will have to go to doctors find out whats happening!
