You will probably be noticing how many times you go to the toilet during the night as your womb presses on your bladder. Cut down on tea, coffee and other drinks containing caffeine, but not your general fluid intake. Hormonal changes can affect your sense of taste and digestion, and your ligaments have begun to soften to prepare your baby for the growth and expansion that lies ahead. It is normal to develop a tracery of veins at this stage, but you may have noticed them earlier. Your baby Your baby is beginning to move her arms and legs. The eyelids are closed tightly over the developing eyes and the face is very human looking. Your baby's liver is producing red blood cells which are pumped around the body by the tiny heart. Your baby's heart has four chambers and beats twice as fast as yours. Muscles are developing so a scan would now show real movement. Your baby is now about the size of a jelly baby. |

Tiredness is the worst though - I'm in bed for 8pm and up at 6am so I shouldn't be that tired surely... Love to all xxx
This time round I feel different, yes scared but have been so sick, even watching the people on Jeremy Kyle makes me feel nauseous - esp. people with bad oral hygeine! I struggle to brush my own teeth most of the time in between heaving! Forget the dental appt. too scared i'll be sick over the equipment!!!
Good luck ladies. Eat well, try and rest hope your scans go well mine isn't until 22nd Sept!! Love cyprus brummie1xxxxxxxxx
Im not sure how far along i am yet (only just found out im pregnant, and a weird period has led me to thin i could be 9 weeks ish) i have already stopped fitting in all my clothes (apart from those with elastic waistlines) This is my 10th pregnancy although i only successfully had two children... this is a nerve racking time for me, but im kinda glad that im starting to need bigger clothes.. its a good sign!
im terrified i will be the oldest one and scared of complications. i had pre eclampsia with my daughter who is nearly 10. i only came off the pill to try and reduce my still high blood pressure-the doc told me it was close to impossible to get pregnant at my age without outside medical help!! whatever.
we are delighted and exited- we have our nuchal; and dating scans booked, i have medication which appears to be controlling my stupid blood pressure, but i just feel very isolated as everyone seems to be 21! im a very young and very fit 45-but still 45 and scared of being mistaken for its gran. is anyoune else out there feeling like this?
I am 9 weeks and 3 days pregnant with my first baby. I am so excited and cant wait for my first scan which is on the 21st April. I am feeling sick and tired all the time and my boobs are really sore. Everything that i usually eat is making me feel sick, so i never feel like eating anything but i know that i have to. My partner is being a big support but i cant help but feel lonely and emotional all the time. Is this normal? Hope everything goes well for everyone xx
New to this forum im currently 8+4 and feeling tired, sore back, sore boobs and still sick this is my 3rd pregnancy and have a bump i lost my 2nd baby at 6 weeks i already have had 2 scans and another on wed 1st of apr hope everything is all well and good luck to everyone xxx
I'm 9+2 weeks pregnant and on my second pregnancy. I have 4 year old twin boys and now on my third and final. Don't know about you, but am feeling super stressed yet excited all at the same time, my poor husband does't know whether he's coming or going with the endless hormonal incidents.
Am feeling sooo bloated and can't wait for a bump so that people at work don't just think i've become incredibly chubby all of a sudden.
Sickness has settled a little and am only starting to feel sick now when hungry. 12 week scan's booked for 30th March and very much looking forward as early scan was soo tiny, v hard to make anything out.
Good luck ladies
x
I'm sorry to hear that your team leader is giving you a bad time. I don't know the answer to your question, but I guess the baby is part of you so try to stay calm and not let things get to you too much.
Thank you and I wish you all well.
congrats and best of luck to all the mums to be (especially 1st timers like me!!!)
i am also feeling flutterings already, and still am a little bit in shock thinking i am making the whole thing up ....so my scan will put my mind at rest....i hope! :) michelle you may only be 21, i am 30 and a 1st timer and i dont think the age or the amount of kids you have change that becoming a mother must be the most scariest yet rewarding thing ever. i am on my own and have the same panic whether i am going to be good enough and whether i will be able to provide for us both and give my baby the best life i can. You shouldnt feel forced to have a baby is one of lifes miracles a little blessing for you! Although i have this fear of the future and measuring up to super mum standards, that fear is nothing in comparison to not having this chance to do the best i can. After all, all we can do is our best and i may not have the biggest wallet but my babay will be dripping with love! ps i have just got back to normal from the emotional roller coaster i was riding a couple of weeks ago, that fair wasnt all that fun. Good luck to everyone
Feeling very tired and sick but loving the fact there is a baby inside me I love. Hope everything goes well for everyone and keep my finger crossed over the next few week of the first trimester xxxx
Luckily my husband is an angel and is 'keeping house' for me while I sleep a lot - LOL!
God bless you both and just know you're not alone! (or a newly diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic).heehee
i wish i could put you at ease but i'm sure i speak for both us when i say, "it won't be until the little one is in our arms screaming back at us that we'll feel comfort" but i am sure YOU ARE FINE. just try to completely take your mind off of it. even if it means neurotically blogging . i can say that going to the Dr. weekly to hear/see the heartbeat has helped me tremendously. maybe do the same? one day at a time.
