hello i think im about 6 weeks gone really excited tho feeling extremely tired all the time and very full and expirencing alot of stomach cramps does any one no if this is normal ??

Hi, I am 4 weeks pregnant i think!!!! am 3 days late for my period and did 5 home pregnancy tests this weekend and they are all positive although very faint. going to see the doctor tomorrow and am really nervous and scared as this will be my first pregnancy if confirmed. I am in a loving marriage so the baby is very much wanted but i am sooooooo nervous.

Hi weevicky, I don't think you're experiencing miscarriage, most people say it hurts really bad as if you were giving birth, but for me, it didn't hurt a bit when i had my miscarriage 8 months ago. nevertheless, i did experience menstrual cramps at the beginning of pregnancy for like a week or two. it was explained to me that since your uterus is growing, that's what causing the cramps. so if you dont have bleeding and cramping at the same time, you should be ok. but go see your doc if you still feel weird about it.

Hi everyone just found out this morning that im pregnant dont know how I feel yet. hi ladies i found out yesterday that im 4 weeks pregnant....it still hasn't sunk in.. is it real?? can a positive be wrong?

small pulling cramping feelings on the left hand side...feeling so tired and when i eat im thinking in my head when to eat next lol im like what the hell im full up and alll i can think bout it when to eat and what to eat lol

my partner can not believe it either - iv taken two test both said pregnant 1-2 ..but yet he cant get hes head round it, keeps touching belly saying cant believe it lol its the best feeling in the world our christmas baby present what more can you ask for :) wishing you girls a healthy 9 months xx

Hi CJ I'm guessing if you came off your period on the 29th that you may had come on your period on say the 24th which makes you about 6 weeks. Even though conception would have been around 14 days after that date. Bcause doctors don't know your exact date of conception they go by the first day of your last period. Hope this helps? what a story i have for you all lol. well i was a month or abit less l8 4 my period but never thought anything of it. then jus last week tuesday (20/9/09) i got cystitis. i went to the walk in centre cuz it got really bad on the thursday n they tested my urine n told me tha i had a water infection n also that there is a faint line to say im pregnant. she told me to take another 1 in the mornin 2 make sure. so i did n i got the same thing a positive reading. im not sure how far gone i am yet cuz i havent been to the doctorz as my mom told me to check again this wkend wen my infection has gone incase the infection was giving me mixed readings. but the only problem is i cant remeber wen i last cum on, my fren says she think i came off my period on the 29th august. if this is right does anybody kno how far gone i am?? cuz im not sure how u work it out.. (1st time pregnant)....

I have just done my pregnancy test and it is positive!!!! Tried last week a couple of days before my period was due and it was negative. But i cant explain why i felt pregnant!!!! Thought i was starting my period on Thursday and had some spot bleeding. But then over the weekend nothinh - so my husband said lets try the pregnancy test again. I am so excited!!!

i have had 13 pregnancies including this one..and i only have 2 healthy children 2 boys ages 11 and 4 i am 29 yrs old ..just found out im 4 weeks preg..im excited but scared cause as soon as i have one more im done but i dont want to try past 35 so just everyone pary i dont lose another one!! hi sjtaylor, i believe they would've sent another test off just to confirm that you are preg and that ur hcg levels are rising to confirm that it is healthy preg. you will only see your gp again at 6 weeks when they can check on preg again hence why waiting 4 weeks for next app. hope all goes well and congrats!!

hi i had a miscarraige on 4/8/09 and i have done a pregnancy test and had a blood test at my docters but im scared that when i had my dc operation that they could ov left sum ov the baby behind and that is why im showing postive on all my test could this be possible and could it be that my hcg levels havent gone bac to normal please help thanks

I recently found out i was pregnant...i took two home prgnancy tests and both read pregnant 1-2 weeks, i went to doctors and they confirmed it and said early but pregnant, they then asked me to do another sample of urine and they are going to send it off to the lab for confirmation, and that was it the doctor didnt say anything else except ring up for your results in three days and then rebook another appointment 4weeks on? Iam just very interested in why we have not been given any other advice and why we have to wait another 4weeks until going back to the doctors? please some one give me advice xxxsarahjane xxxx

I have had fertility treatment (IUI) and it's 12 days after the insemination (so week 4!). I did 2 tests this morning and they were both positive! I can't believe it, we have been trying for 6 years and 9 months... I had spotting a couple of days ago and thought it must be a sign of my impending period, but I guess not! I have been told by the hospital that the pregnancy test will definately be correct - so roll on my first scan, booked in 3 weeks time!

I have been feeling slightly sickly for about a week, and my boobs felt funny but after so long trying and hoping, it's hard to tell the difference this time compared to all the other months when I've was convinced that I felt like I was pregnant. Also I have an irritable bowel so the mild tummy aches could have been that... It' so hard to tell - but the test said it all!

I have a six almost severn year old daughter, who is great. However things didnt work out between her Father and I. So we split. About 4 years ago I met this great guy who loved me and my daughter. Thing's were great. Last year i found out i was pregnant, we had been trying for 18 months. Thing's with the pregnancy went wrong and we ended up losing it. He was my rock, he pulled us thought it. So after christmas we decided to try again. i told him on Saturday, I was pregnant he ask me to get rid. after loosing one at 13 weeks pregnant I can't. more to the point i don't want to. we were trying for this baby. On the night I told him I was pregnant he got his stuff while I was at work and left. My world is shattered and I don't know what to do. I love this man with all my heart. He has just crushed me. I cry all the time, people tell my i should have an abortion because I need a clean break. But we wanted this baby. I want this baby. I don't know what to do. am not asking for reply's I just really needed to get it off my chest.

please i need help ive been having pregancy syptoms :feeling sick all day bloated stomach ,eating alot ,weeing more for 2 weeks now im due to come on my period in 5 days i have taken 2 pregancy tests which came back negative i really think im pregant but just now i went to the toilet and i had the most terrible pain in the side of my stomach and then a little bit of blood and now im having period pains but the bleeding has stop it was just a little bit im really confused could i be pregant please please help : )

just after some advice really. i have a daughter of 1 and half and this is my 2nd child, i am getting slight cramps and my skin is slightly spotty. during my 1st preg, i had perfect skin and cant recall having cramps. am i being paranoid or should i be worried that its not the same as last time. claire xxx

I didn't necessarily want advice about symptoms because if I am pregnant, I am only 4 weeks. And of course I am super conscious...:-) But I needed some advice. I am a single mother with 2 children, girl (14), and boy (9). Both children have different fathers. My son's father and I were engaged years ago, but he cheated on me after I had my son. It sucks, I know. Now I am in a relationship of 1 year with a great man, who truly believes that he cannot have children. He has only seen one doctor and the doctor could not give him an explanation of why he was 'infertile.' Anyway, I might be pregnant. It's great for him, a miracle child, right?? And I really wanted a baby, but I desire marriage. He already knows what I want. If I am pregnant, should I give him an ultimatum? I never wanted to force a man to marry me because he would only be doing it out of obligation, but I want to be married...Any advice??

Hey ladies, can anyone advise me? My usual cycle is very short, 21 days, but having been trying for a baby for 2 years i have gone 4 days over due on my period. The test was negative perhaps because it's too early (not 28 days yet), but my breasts are like melons, nipples really tender and sore and there's no sign of a period yet. Does this sound familiar to anyone? How long does anyone think I should leave it before I test again?

From last two days I have been having severe diahhorea, and being passing complete liquid stool atleast 20-25 times a day. i cant even lie down as Its leaking and its of extreme discomfort. Well, I'm not 100% sure if I am or I'm not, I suddenly within a week or so have developed a belly, got nausea in the morning and got cramping but not proper period cramping. So with luck...doing a test at the end of this week.

In answer to the lady who just came off the pill, I came off the pill around 3 months ago and bing, I appear to be pregnant...took the same amount of time the last time (I have an 8 year old), so don't worry if you don't get pregnant straight away. As for the 5 months thing, can't say I've heard of that myself but that means nowt:)

hey ladies - i am looking for some advice. me and my partner have decided to try for a baby and am just interested to here if anyone has any stories on conceiving after taking the pill. I came off the pill end of Nov and the first day of my last period was 7th of Dec, i have experienced some nausea but think this is more me reading into things as so desperate to be pregnant, my next period due bout 30th of dec but so scared to take a test even then as worried it will be negative. I have heard it can take up to 5 month to concieve after taking the pill and i was on it for awhile - just looking for reassurance really

hey there ladies... i was wondering if someone could help me out... i have been experencing cramps in my pelvic region for the last few days and i also had a very light bleed on Monday which only lasted the day, i have been told this could be an implantation bleed. i haven't got sore boobs or any other symptoms.. could i be prego? The problem is i have PCOS and i don't know when i ovulate and i also don't remember what date my last period was in October. I haven't tested yet as i am afriad of getting a negative result...

So shocked me and hubby made the decesion to try for our 1st baby in October and in the first month of trying i am pregnant so shocked !! It has not sunk in yet. I had what i think was implantation bleeding a few spots 4 - 5 days after Ov, I was so impatient and did a test 6 days after Ov with first response got a faint line tested 7 days after Ov again faint line so tried two digital clearblue on the 8 day after ov and got the words Pregnant twice. Been to doctors as i still did not believe it he did bloods and again positive. I am just so worried now that its to good to be true and i am never blessed with good luck :-( So happy but anixous at the sametime.

Hello, my partner & I found out last week that I am pregnant. It's our first :0). Very Exciting!! I am in my 5th week (according to my calculation) (although my doctors has calculated this as my 7th week) I am still having period type pains 2 maybe 3 times daily but they don't last more than 30 seconds. Hi, I have a 6 year old and we decided to try for another child. Well I have been trying for about 8 months had a miscarriage in September ;( was surprised did not even know I was pregnant at the time, we decided to try again last month, been feeling very tired, cramping for about the past two weeks and not my usual self, wont test just yet AF was due on Wednesday will probably wait another week. Hi, i did a test this morning and it was positive (& only 4 days late), so i did another & yay it's positive!!!this sight says i'm 4.5 wks..... i already have a daughter and am so pleased as only decided to start trying last month! : ) I'm so excited and want to tell everyone but am so scared as I keep thinking how uncertain things can be at such an early stage.....wow what a whole load of emotions since 8am this morning!!...can hardly focus and partner arrives home at 5pm should i be strong and wait to tell him until atleast 6 weeks???....it seems like i found out so early...i found out about first pregnancy at 9wks!....would love to hear back x

Hiya, I im 4 weeks pregnant, i have such a grinding pain in left side of pelvic area (ovary location) but also have a spot of endometriosis in that region. Getting an early scan to check that my pregnancy isnt ectopic. could the pain be normal pregnancy with stretching of the ligaments or could it be the endometriosis?
