Pregnancy week 22

Pregnancy calendar: week 22 of being pregnant - Your bump is getting bigger, but it's important to stay active.
You

If you suffer from bad cramps, drinking more milk or eating bananas may help. Your bump is getting bigger, but it's important to stay active, try not to arch your back to compensate for the extra in front. Swap from high impact fitness activities such as jogging or aerobics to swimming, yoga or walking.

Your baby

Your baby is now the size of an envelope. Your baby's eyebrows and head hair will be growing. The skin is translucent, pink-red in colour and wrinkled. If you are carrying a girl she will have about seven million eggs in her ovaries, the genetic imprint for your generation for your future grandchildren. Nipples appear on both sexes.

I am 22 weeks with my second child, my daughter Scarlett just turned one yesterday so I'm going to be very busy soon! Don't know for sure whether we are expecting another girl or a little boy- but I think I saw something that gave it away on the scan, I'll have to see if I'm right in February!!!
good luck everybody!! xx

babylogan09 ive not seen a midwife yet either. i had an initial appointment but she said she wasnt going to be my midwife cos of my area . the hostpital gave me the number of one and told me to call to make an appointment for 25 weeks. im 22 weeks now. when you go for your scan talk to them about it and they should do something or be able to advise you. by this point you probably are feeling it kick. ive been feeling mine the last 2 weeks quite prominently .

First of all I would like to express my gratitude of giving us useful information on pregnancy especially to those who are having this experience first time.

I am not comfortable to sit continously for more than 20min and unable to get sleep during the nights is this symptom the common one? Kindly advise.....

I am getting annoyed with people saying that I am not very big. My midwife says that the baby is spot on in size.
