Signs of pregnancy at week 11 of being pregnant - Your baby's major body organs have formed and the most critical period in development has passed.
You
You may still be feeling tired and nauseous, but this should pass soon. You may have gained a little weight, about 2-3lb, about 10% of your total weight gain. Changes in hormones may result in mood swings and irritability. You could try yoga or putting your feet up and some camomile tea. You may feel a little dizzy at times due to pregnancy hormones affecting your insulin output.
Your baby
Your baby is growing quickly at the moment. You still cannot tell the gender of your baby from a scan, as the sex organs aren't visible externally yet. Your baby will start to produce testosterone if it's a boy. Your baby's skin, in two layers, is transparent and covered with a fine down. The lungs, although developing, are still very immature.
Your baby can suck and swallow and is able to move freely in the liquid surrounding him or her. The intestines are already able to process the liquid that the baby is swallowing. Your baby would now fit into the palm of your hand. All the major body organs have formed and the most critical period in development has passed. The foetus can kick, punch and arch her body. Your baby can flex her fingers, form a fist and wrinkle her forehead.

Has any1 else experienced this. xx
My tips are to force yourself to eat regularly every hour and a half. And not big meals. I find dry food like brown bread tends to sit better and also things without a strong taste. Everything to me doesnt really taste good anymore and so I just dont want to eat anything but if I let myself get hungry my nausea is a hundred times worse.
Also I find sipping fluids regularly throughout the day rather than gulping them helps : )
Really excited an looking forward to our new bundle of joy, A large gap thou my eldest is 14 an youngest 10,
Good luck 2 all xxx
All the best ladies...
I am justcoming into my 11th week and am feeling so low today. My partner already has a child with another woman who is now pregnant again although with another man. I find that it is really painful when he texts her even though it is to do with his child or more recently to tell her about the pregancy. He wants to tell her that we are expecting although she is now claiming that she is going into labour which is convenient. Im ont sure I really believe her as she is not due until November or at least that is what my partner says. Apparantly htey had a discussion a few months ago where she told him she was due in November. Reason why I am focusing on that is becausemy partner and his ex had sex Late January and despite claims that contraception was used I'm not entirely beliving that (considering she mislead him into having her first child). And it gets worse she also asked him in Feb to leave me and set up home with her and their little one. He obviously told her where to go but netherless it has made me feel so worried about everything. I sometimes feel maybe I shouldnt have been so dumb to believe that we were really happy given the situation however before the pregnancy we were happy.
I am so confused as to what is going on around me and am wishing I could take myself completely out of this confusing mess!! Maybe this is just pregnancy hormones talking but I dont konw. Does anyone else feel this confused and upset about things?
this is gonna be our 1st baby and it feels like he doenst really care and i get so stressed wen i shouldn't and i have really thought much bout the baby... is that wrong?
I am 11+4 have my first scan on Monday and cant wait to see and hear the baby for the first time.
Still havent suffered with and sickness and the nausea seems to be calming down a bit, looking forward to the 2nd trimester boost.
hanzybella - i have felt a few flutters but i put that down to wind :-) as i thought it was far too early to feel baby move yet (this is my 1st pregnancy).
I am so glad i found this website! I have been feeling so worried lately that i dont feel pregnant. I think i am around 11 and half weeks and am due for my scan this friday. I did feel sick from about 5 weeks until 9 weeks but now i dont feel anything. I am tired all the time (but thats nothing new for me) and i have a few cramps but nothing else. It has settled my mind knowing that there are other people out there that dont feel pregnant, as all the official websites say that you should by now. Thank you for putting my mind at ease. If anyone has any other words of wisdom to share please do as this is my first baby and its all scary and new to me.
Cheers

Still got all the horrible early symptoms, sickness... all through the day! and my tastes are changing too, things I used to love, I hate now, and I can eat things I used to absolutely hate! starting to get really fed up with the sickness though, can't wait for it to start dying down. When did everyone start noticing it going?? : )
I am 11 weeks toDay. This Is My first Pregnancy.. & Im a tad bit worried because I have no Symptoms, no bump just Sore Breast. I also heard My baby's Heartbeat when I was 9 weeks. Dr.Said everything looked gooD. Should I worry?
This is my 4th pregnancy. I have two children (girl - 7 and boy - 2) and had one miscarriage.
I feel a bit excited to have this little one even though circumstances surrounding my pregnancy isn't so 'joyous'.
;-(
I just wanted to share this with you all so that you are not so scared of bleeding, there is hope.
It was even harder for me to believe since I already suffered a miscarriage at 8 weeks only in July....
But now at 11 weeks, baby is sill doing fine and I am still crossing my fingers.
amazing how resilient the human body is!
Over the last 2 weeks i have felt the baby move twice, feels like a little butterfly right in the bottom of my belly which only lasted for about 2-3 seconds!!!!! Good luck to you all x x

you see, as woman we freak out and there is nothing to be alarmed about. if there is something, you'll know for sure. if you aren't sure; no need to worry, that will only hurt you. i know its easier said than done, but i'm going to try not to loose it unless i see something very very scary. my prayers are with all of you! and CONGRATS!
give it a few weeks though and you will be able to feel flutters,
im sooo tired too!
