Jessica: Baby is the love of my life

Jessica Alba has revealed that motherhood is proving to be the most rewarding role of her life.
Hollywood actress Jessica Alba has spoken out about the joys of motherhood, describing her baby daughter as the love of her life.

The stunning 27-year-old gave birth to her first child with husband Cash Warren, daughter Honor Marie, in June this year.

Despite having a five-month-old baby to look after, Jessica still managed to look gorgeous at the Keep A Child Alive Fifth Annual Black Ball last week, where she spoke openly about life with little Honor.

She told People magazine that she was relishing all parts of motherhood: "Everything is cute, everything is fun, including the explosive diarrhoea - the best ever. She's the love of my life. The love is profound. She gives everything more meaning."

Asked whether the baby was sleeping through the night yet, Jessica replied: "She gets a few bottles a night, yes. But she doesn't wake up and want to hang out."

As a busy working actress, it wasn't long before Jessica had to hit the gym and get back to her famous pre-pregnancy shape and she admits that she had to work out, although not for hours and hours, and she also stuck to a simple organic diet in order to shift the baby weight.
