Celebrity mum Jennifer Lopez has opened up about her babies' first birthday and how she and husband Marc Anthony celebrated the one-year milestone.

The fraternal twins, who were reportedly conceived naturally, were born on February 22nd 2008 and recently spoke their first words.

No different to other proud mums, the 39-year-old singer threw a "cute" kids' party for twins Max and Emme, with cake, clowns and fun entertainment and even allowed them to get a little messy!

Revealing her anxiety about the birthday bash, J Lo told Access Hollywood: "You don't think they're going to enjoy their party, [that] they're going to be in their own worlds. They had such a good time for one-year-olds.

"I let them put their hands in the cake. They were eating it and smushing it in their mouths."

Jennifer has expressed plans to welcome a new addition to her brood in future, but wants to focus on getting back to work before trying for another baby.

She and singer Marc tied the knot back in June 2004. They announced the pregnancy in November 2007 confirming months of media speculation.
