It's a boy for Nicole?

New showbiz reports suggest baby number two for Hollywood couple will be a boy.

Celebrity mum Nicole Richie may be expecting a little boy, according to new Hollywood rumours.

Nicole is currently pregnant with her second child with fiance, 30-year-old Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden. The new arrival will join the couple's one-year-old daughter Harlow in late August/early September.

The 27-year-old Simple Life star has sparked speculation of the baby's sex by referring to her bump as "he" and stocking up on blue decor and accessories for the child's nursery.

An inside source told In Touch: "Joel bought water-based paint for the nursery and - surprise, surprise - it's blue.

"Plus, [Nicole] recently ordered some plush animals and infant toys from FAO Schwarz, and everything just happens to be blue."

The proud parents announced the pregnancy in February. Nicole was recently spotted attending Pilates classes in Los Angeles, revealing her secret to prenatal fitness.

Experts say that Pilates is a great form of exercise for expectant mums as it helps condition muscles in the abdomen and pelvic floor in preparation for childbirth.

Just a curiosity? Did Nicole experience morning sickness during the first months of this pregnancy? was her pregnancy different from the first one?
