Church and Henson announce 2nd child

One time opera diva and TV presenter Charlotte Church has announced that she is expecting a second baby just nine months after her first child. Church, 22, and partner Gavin Henson said they were thrilled at the news. A statement on the singer's official website read: "The couple are thrilled, as are their immediate families." Charlotte and Welsh rugby player Henson celebrated the birth of their first child Ruby in September last year.

Full name Ruby Megan Henson the child was born in a birthing pool at Church's mother's farmhouse in St Bride's Major, South Wales.

Church recently fronted a campaign to promote the vitues of breastfeeding.

"It's cheaper, it's clean, it's the right temperature and everybody knows mother's milk is best," she said.

"It's definitely a skill and is a bit alien at the start, but it's such a completely natural process."

She added: "I think people don't like the look of it, so to speak. People are more selfish these days and keep their body to themselves."

Church, who has sold ten million albums worldwide, has said she wants "half a dozen" more children.
