Celebs catch on to 'babymoon' trend

American actress Ana Ortiz reveals plans to take a break with her husband before the birth of their first-born.

Ugly Betty star and expectant mum Ana Ortiz is following the increasingly popular trend of taking time out with her hubby before her baby's arrival.

Babymoons have fast become a growing trend among mums and dads-to-be, as a well-deserved break to recharge and relax in preparation for the birth.

In a recent interview with In Touch Weekly, the 38-year-old actress revealed: "We're just going to get away, just the two of us, for a spa weekend before the baby comes and spoil ourselves and get pampered."

Couples eagerly awaiting the pitter patter of tiny feet can use the opportunity of some alone-time to reconnect and focus on their relationship before life becomes all about nappies and feeding schedules.

As for Ana, her hubby Noah Lebenzon has been doing his bit to make her feel loved and attractive throughout her first pregnancy.

"There hasn't been a day that goes by that he hasn't told me that I'm gorgeous and sexy," she added.

The proud parents-to-be are expecting their first baby in July.
