Hi guys. Here in South Africa we have a different way of naming our children, but like all of us we use positive names. With the names that we use we are hoping our children will follow them.In the history of the Zulu Tradition babies were named after a particular incident that was iether pleasant or unpleasant. For example if I had an enemy I would use my babies name to get back to him or her by naming a child Wangifunani ?which means what do you want from me? These days we have beautyful meaningful names like Ntando (The will), Thando (Luv), Musa (Mercy), Ngcebo (richness) and names like Themba which means hope, that we use to name our boy babies.Through these names we profecying goodness upon our children.
