Baby bibs

Advice on the different varieties of baby bibs available plus the opportunity to purchase a wide range of bibs including towelling, weaning and scoop bibs.

Discuss baby bibs on our forums, right now! Or, post a comment below.

There are several types of bibs on the market and they vary widely in colour and design.

Most are made from soft absorbent materials. They range in size from small, suitable for newborns to larger bibs for your toddler. Some have tie handles, other are fastened with Velcro. Many have cute pictures on the front.

Also available for messy weaning times are long sleeved bibs, often with a thin plastic lining, which will keep your toddler completely clean from spillages.

As your baby gets older you may opt for an easy to wipe plastic bib with a lip or scoop at the bottom to catch bits as she begins to feed herself. These are also available as a cloth bib with a plastic pop-in scoop.

Disposable bibs are useful when out and about and are available in multi packs.
