Baby bags

Advice on what to look for when choosing a baby bag, plus the opportunity to purchase a range of changing, feeding and luxury baby bags.

A baby bag is an extremely useful item to own and carry around. When your baby is small there are various items you need to carry with you at all times e.g. nappies, baby wipes, nappy sacks, bottles (if you are bottle feeding), possibly a small changing mat. It is helpful to have a dedicated, bag to keep everything in one place and that can be grabbed and taken wherever you go. As your baby grows you will need somewhere to put weaning foods and a bottle of milk or water and a baby bag with plenty of pockets to keep things in is ideal.

A rucksack design, or a bag that goes over the shoulder will enable you to keep both of your hands free when you and your baby are on the go. Large practical pockets for nappies, clothing and everything else you may need, including space for parent's little odds and ends are desirable. Some baby bags include a changing mat as part of the design.

A well-organised baby bag interior makes it simple to find all baby's equipment. For additional security look for a bag with a hidden pocket, where valuables can be secreted out of sight.

Also on the market are baby suitcases/changing bags for use when travelling with your baby away from home overnight or for the weekend.
