Babies galore for celebrities

Two celebrities are celebrating giving birth while another has just started down the pregnancy path

There has been a lot of baby happenings in the celebrity world, with two giving birth and one announcing their pregnancy.

First of all it was a second child for pop star Gwen Stefani and rocker husband Gavin Rossdale, who gave birth to a boy named Zuma Nesta Rock, weighing in at 8lb 5oz.

"Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy," said her publicist Dave Tomberlin.

Meanwhile, Location, Location, Location star Kirstie Allsopp was also celebrating a second child, a 9lb 2oz son.

However, the new tot has not yet been named, unlike her first child who was named straight away.

"We've toyed with all sorts of names, but we have probably sought too many opinions, my mum, my dad and the boys who would probably like it to be something out of Dr Who," she said.

And finally, former Spice Girl Mel C was said to be "delighted" with news that she was expecting her first child with her partner of six years, Thomas Starr.

She is the last Spice Girl to become a mum, and the Daily Mirror quoted a source close to the star who said she was "over the moon at the prospect of becoming a mum for the first time".
